COLON CANCER AWARENESS
Colon cancer is the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the United States.
WHO SHOULD GET SCREENED
- Anyone age 50 and over.
- Anyone age 40 and over with a family history of colon cancer or polyps, or 10 years prior to the age of the youngest first degree relative at diagnosis.
- Anyone with a personal history of colon polyps.
- Anyone with a personal history of Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis.
