Dr. Vahil has a distinction of being triple board certified in internal medicine, gastroenterology, and clinical nutrition. His commitment to medicine and gastroenterology has earned him Fellowship of American College of Physicians, American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

“During my internal medicine residency I developed a strong interest in gastroenterology because of its complexity and the way it relates to nutrition and health. I decided to pursue my career in gastroenterology and clinical nutrition. This specialty gives me the opportunity to interact with my patients on a very personal level, help educate them regarding their gastrointestinal disease, and improve their overall health by listening to their symptoms, fears, and concerns. My particular interest is in the field of Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative colitis.”
